Day 1 - take 12
The star of the show! A single take that lasted 43 minutes, and was by far my favourite work of the day.
This project was done at the beginning of February 2023. The goal was to bring together a small group to film and record improvisations played by myself in my childhood home in Granada, Spain.
Over the course of three intense days of filming, we came out with a substantial amount of content.
This video is the 12th take of the first day. With every take we did, neither I nor the cameras knew in what direction the music would go, whether the pieces would last 10 minutes or an hour.
The plan was to bring together these two creative forms in a feeling and freeing way, keeping all the human aspects to the music and the image.
